The Meaning of "My" - NYTimes.com
A teacher in highschool told me that there was a culture that didn’t have possessive words like “my” in their language and it still blows my mind. Not the idea but when I try to talk without saying my… can’t do it! Like how would you say “my sister”?? You couldn’t say the daughter of MY mother. WTF! Blow my mind!
